Career Options

We are finally really experiencing spring around here. And it is glorious. We've turned off the heat, thrown open the windows and enjoyed a half dozen meals out on our new patio during the last week. But today really topped it all. Even at 7:30 this morning it was obvious that it going to be a warm and wonderful day. So over morning coffee we began to envision what kind of outdoor fun might be in store for Ellie.

A couple of hours later as I prepared a little make-shift wading pool for her (meticulously scrubbing clean a cement mixing tray) she found her own way to enjoy the warm morning (click on the above picture to see the video). You can see for yourself what sort of adventure she discovered. So much for creating a sterile play environment. On the bright side, Ellie had so much fun that she's considering a future in mud wrestling. We're trying to talk her into settling for it as just a hobby on the side.
